As a dog nut, I have to give a shout out to the amazing, authentic realism on Sandor; especially that facial close-up. Definitely hope to see more of him...and this whole engaging story...

Stone Mane - Stargate was definitely a love of mine, but I was more partial to Farscape, personally. Aside from that, I used to design software for children, one happened to be on Ancient Greece. There are a good number of influences in Azure to Greek and Roman mythology - ie. Minerva, Artemis, etc. When the story is all said and told I should put together an Annotated page break-down...P. 75, panel 5 = myself ;)

Right, greek mythology. I just figured since there was a ship named Daedalus in the show, it might relate. Anyway, great work as always, can't wait to read more. Hope your in-story version recovers, unless it's the dead one in the 1st panel. :O

ptimony – he he – the cats are NOT getting in...

SamLittle – Always! What can I say – I read Untrue Tales …and I owe my dog for the neglect I show him while I toil away on pages. Poor beast.

Elae – Yeah the expressions on a boxer’s face are eerily human. As to the walks - I’m thinking they surface often, and that I wouldn’t want to spend much time on their outer hull…;)

Stone Mane – Daedalus – not a reference to stargate but what they are referencing – the Greek Myth - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daedalus (hint - I’m the dude that’s all bloodied up on the floor).

Serinanth – Awesome! Thanks for keeping up, and glad you like what you see :) Send in a note to the feedback about wanting it in print! Zuda’s very keen on listening to what the fans want. As to my resolution – let’s just say I have a really big monitor/s and like most of the Zuda titles the content is created at a much high resolution than what you see, in case it needs to go to print down the line. I think my width is 4 or 5000 px and I tend to work at screen res.

The Dood – Haha! Yeah That dog is going to be the real rockstar of the series.
StrokerX – Awesome! I’ve been trying to up the ante on the textures this season…

paulMcKinneyart – Haha – thanks for all the support, man :) You Rock! More underwater goodness to come, and the end of this season will knock your socks off!

niklopez – he he! Def :) Good eye, luv ;) Thanks!

Zero-Optix – Awesome! I spent a while before Season 2 started honing some of the texture brushes and gathering textures I was going to use this season – braving some of the unsavory areas of Baltimore for photos of rusted out warehouses and the such. Glad to know it isn’t going unnoticed!

Nexuszen – Haha! Send that into the Zuda feedback! Quick! I’ll keep cranking ;)

ernestopriego – Heh – glad someone caught my little pun :)

Elae – aww, thankee muchly!

CausleyConcepts, StrokerX – Marvelous! Yeah I thought I would pepper in a few full page splashes here and there this season at key moments. There’s one coming up late this season that folks will REALLY want to view in fulscreen…

RobertEAnderson – Thanks Robert! And yes – definitely click the fullscreen and watch on as big a screen as possible. Thanks so much for reading :)

Ah! I see it now. It's those little details that one misses that make the difference. And considering the main girls are robotic, lining up those shots shouldn't be too hard, I guess. By the way, what made you name that submarine Daedalus? Could it possibly be a reference to Stargate SG-1? Maybe?

Escape - ;) right on! Firefly is a fave…though as Sam points out – they were nodding to Star Trek. I’s just waiting for the right time to use the “leaf on the wind” ;)

SamLittle – Tats unite! He he – Actually Rob has to get credit for the ‘bucks & other chain tats. When mulling over things the subject of “gangs on the sea” came up, which lead to, “what would the future gang tats resemble?” The thought stuck that future gang tats would resemble or pay homage to those aspects of our society that they remembered; aspects now lost such as corporate culture, fast food chains, commercials drilled into our psyche over the years…

Stone Mane – I appreciate the nods on the armour. Thanks! Auto-tracking – though it doesn’t show this in particular see page 30. Sienna is kind of a bad@$$ as well, she’s lining up the shots as she sails over the deck of the destroyer.

hellmutt77 – Thanks so much!

pjperez – Haha – awesome :) If you are coming to any of the cons in the near future (C2E2, NYCC, San Diego – we should have some stuff up on the big screen…

Kidgloves – Thanks KG :) Warms my soul to hear it!

darthdad – Nice! What’s funny is, I do a good chunk of the pages on my laptop, and then detail work on my 47” TV/display. It starts off small and ends big :) Glad you are digging it!

The year is 2022. The ice caps are long gone. The world is a watery grave for most coastal and low-lying cities, and the land left has been decimated by Warfare and stripped bare by the remnants of humanity. This was caused by a cataclysm in the year 2012, (called the “Event” by survivors), predicted by the Aztecs centuries earlier. The temperature of the planet is an average of +35 degrees Celsius, and the oxygen level in the air has been reduced drastically, with kelp and ocean-based plant life maintaining a barely breathable atmosphere. Over time, the survivors of mankind have fled to the only cool areas left on earth, and many have migrated beneath her oceans. Entire cities have been relocated to undersea environments, in order to escape the wrath of the sun and the creeping of the seas. Most of the struggling submerged communities have died. Survivor scientists tried in vain to replace the icecaps and to make their watery cities work, only to learn that man needs air and light. After eons of evolution moving away from the water, mankind is being forced back into her depths.
Precious commodities of 2022:
