Celadore has failed. Christian, an evil corporate vampire has lit the day candle, which allows vampires to walk in the sun. Celadore must set out to destroy the candle, only her soul has been bounced into the comatose body of Evelyn Massey, an 11yr old girl. Plagued by the ghost of the actual Evelyn, Celadore is eventually joined by Sam, the over-eager next door neighbor, and her old posse: Jams, the only Frankenstein ever born of two others; Wax, Celadore's ex-boyfriend; And Ness, Celadore's business partner, tooth fairy, & qualified masseuse. Adventure, hilarity, and surprises ensue in a world where even magic isn't safe from capitalism.
Wow, Caanan, I just got caught up on about 40 pages worth- keeps getting better!
Badger - Hopefully Cel and the gang will be back in the swing of things within a month. The script is done and I'm working on new pages already. Just gotta build up my lead-in time.

Hey Totti, on Screen 16, Sam asks for the 'genie cube' from Wax. The nature of the cube was discussed in the 4 promo screens I mentioned before, that were never released. I really hope you all get to see them one day. They were drawn based on an 18 panel grid. Oh, the panelage!

What does it mean when she needs a lamp! It's driving me CRAZY!!!! Great cliffhanger to end season two though.
You have turned a cliched plot into an innovative and immersive storyline.

Love the characters and the storyline. The humor definitely comes across more in the Nymph storyline. Other then the occasional font that's too small even for full screen, and some issues with sequential frames occasionally, I like this series a lot.
This is fantastic. Completely captivating. I'll probably check back daily until the next part is finished. Otherwise, my life will never feel complete.

It was mentioned briefly on screen 51 that Allison died in a car accident when she was 15. That's why they appear younger on the latest screens, because even though Jason lived 4 more years, their souls are connected.
Hmmm...perhaps it's just me and my 3-second memory span, but was Jason always a twin...? I'm confused as to why there's two appearing on the disc...Otherwise I'm loving it, and can't wait for more screens!
Scoprion - it was important to me to include some resolution for Sam's mum regarding her daughter now being someone else. I like the twin's attitude, post-life. Maybe I'll bring them back one day.

Son of Sam I Am - cool nickname! Glad you found us. Be sure and let me what you think of the whole tale when you get there. This comic started off shaky (especially the colouring) but I think I've learned a lot since screen 1.
I'm not quite through this yet, but it is not to shabby.
Can season 3 start maybe... next week...? In all seriousness, way to go, Canaan. This is epic, and I cannot wait to read more!

Well, at least Rawhead is now semi-permanently gone, that's something. I sense a third arc coming, though, and to that I say "YAY!" This comic is just too good to end/die! Loved the real Sam's comments and "giving consent" bits, too!

Not entirely true, Math-san. I did four promo pages bridging the gap between part 1 and part 2 that were kept off the net for legal reasons. (Hopefully, they'll make it into a print edition? Hint hint.)

I guess Caanan can put all the supplemental stuff he wants to, as he's not competing anymore. XD It's illegal to have supplementals up during the competition. That's why it's on Competition Rules. But after that, I guess you not only can, but are also encouraged to.

I honestly couldn't tell you, Jennifer. I know you can't post future pages at all. Not sure about prequels. Some of my extra pages really had nothing to do with my main story, while some did, so I have no idea. It could just be that I was the first to do it, so I got away with it, but I think some others have done this since too, and had no problem. I can't really speak for anyone else though.

I don't mean to pick nits, but isn't this a violation of the Competition rules? The reason I ask is that I'm submitting my entry this week - and I was told but other that you can't have supplemental material during the competition that advances the story. No sequels. No prequels. Etc.

I'd like to know what some of the plot holes you identified are. I try hard to keep track of my story and characters, but in the end I'm just one dude doing all this, so other points of view are always welcome.

enh. I'm not sure I get the plot holes in the first season. Let alone some of the ones in season two. Also, I feel the author does more time explaining everything in the comments section rather than in the comic itself. Still, pretty art though - but the whole thing falls apart as a story for me.

Hey Tokugawa, you definitely get it. The way I see it, kids are much more likely to believe this crazy stuff and jump in head first than adults. But you correctly identified what the story has always been about to me. The heart of it. It's not really ALL about Celadore, but about what happens to two kids who suddenly get caught up in this mystery world when Celadore comes bumbling through.
Altogether a great comic. I enjoy Celadore, Evie, Sam and the gang endlessly. For somebody like me, who's near stepping out of his own childhood, this is a story of growth. The world of two ordinary kids is broken into by the horrors and inconsistencies of a must larger universe. However, you do that and avoid being serious. One moment the characters are shrugging off being eaten or disembodied or orphaned. The next they're enjoying each other's company, having awkward moments and just living. Evie can't escape her fate, doesn't completely know what it means . Cel can't always protect her and Sam can only follow a path suiting to his name.
Personally, I can't wait for more.

Santiago - just in time for the final update! I always wonder what it's like to read the whole thing at once, since I write with the loading time, and weekly wait in mind. I imagine it's quite a fractured tale.
Huh, spoke too soon, this thing doesn't wanna die, does it? At least Sam found his courage again and came up with a decent plan to try and catch the s.o.b. Now, if they can just end this and get Cel to a hospital, again...
