Celadore has failed. Christian, an evil corporate vampire has lit the day candle, which allows vampires to walk in the sun. Celadore must set out to destroy the candle, only her soul has been bounced into the comatose body of Evelyn Massey, an 11yr old girl. Plagued by the ghost of the actual Evelyn, Celadore is eventually joined by Sam, the over-eager next door neighbor, and her old posse: Jams, the only Frankenstein ever born of two others; Wax, Celadore's ex-boyfriend; And Ness, Celadore's business partner, tooth fairy, & qualified masseuse. Adventure, hilarity, and surprises ensue in a world where even magic isn't safe from capitalism.

RKB - Meaner vampires coming your way, although - I just read the new graphic novel from First Second on the plane - Life Sucks, and you should check that out because it depicts a type of vampire eerily similar to the way they work in my world too. The collective unconscious, huh? Bizarre.

It was an honour to be a part of this competition. I've been following Zuda every month since I first got a postcard at last year's San Diego con, and in my opinion, this has been the strongest, consistent month and a great indication that Zuda is growing and getting bigger and better all the time! I'm thrilled to be a part of it!
