Cachy, Paul - Thanks a ton. :)
Paul, I believe they tore the Broadway school down recently. There was a big fuss about it being a historical building, etc.

thehousebehind - You mean teenage girls with social issues don't regularly turn to serial murder to cope with difficulties!? Phew, that is a relief.. I was starting to develop a phobia of teenage girls. Ha ha. I kid
Nice work Adam. That school almost looks like the school on Broadway.

@thehousebehind - The comic shows that she is suffering in the school environment, and we all know how dangerous that melting pot can become.
I have to agree though that one comic a week is a bit to slow, and I wish that they could find a way to increase the output, without placing strain on the artists.
It is interesting placing a person who is unstable in an almost supernatural setting. Will something break again?

thehousebehind- You do realize this is fiction right? Who cares if its "incongruent with any known serial killer pathology" haha. I don't know of too many good movies, comics or music that perfectly mirror reality. If they did that the entertainment industry would quickly become be pretty boring.

And if you don't like it don't read it! Pretty simple. As you put it you "don't have years to sit around and watch this unfold" The reality of these online comics that are only able to release a page a week is that it does take a while for the story to unfold. I happen to enjoy it.

I am not sure what to say really. As a woman who has suffered from mental difficulties at several different points in my life that required medication intervention I find the idea of "murder therapy" to be a bit insensitive, and also incongruent with any known serial killer pathology. A troubled teen girl turned serial killer is a little weak, and naive when one considers the levels of depravity and years of abuse needed for a human to become a serial killer. It's too difficult to suspend disbelief, too contrived, and too poorly paced. 29 weeks and we have gotten what equates to the first 15 minutes of a movie, if that. As a reader I don't have years to sit around and watch this unfold.

thehousebehind - Thanks for commenting. You're mistaken about the direction I'm going and both character's fates. Which is fine because I intended it to be that way at this point. Also all the characters are based on myself primarily Lily more so than the male character. And Coma White has been a favourite song of mine since I was 15 or 16 and meant alot to me, so I'm glad that has shined through to you as an inspiration influence. :)

This appears to be just another Twilightesque swiss-cheesy romance plot with the comics author cast as the male romantic interest; a teen wank fantasy sprung to life.

*Sorry for 3 posts, but my original one had to be broken down to fit all the text.

In 29 weeks I have learned that Lily has some sort of ill defined mental illness that she takes medications for(Coma White any one?) and can't deal with whatever her problem is without killing people for really poor reasons(like them not being dimwits). She can also expertly kill 3 men with steak knives in her teen years, only to get knocked completely out by the waif like ghost(oyster) boy.

What a bunch of anti-feminist BS this is turning out to be. It sucks to be a poo-pooer because I was really hoping this wasn't going to go down the well worn path of "weak female saved by mysterious stranger"....but it did and I should have known better than to think otherwise.

Wonder where he's taking Lily off too...I hope she wakes up soon! He did sorta "save" her from the cops...in some way, I mean he could've just ditched her and booked it to save himself! Then again he could just be out for some nonspecific revenge against her...Dx

Great artwork and can't wait to find out more about who the guy is. Seems like a hero kind of guy at first glance. I do have one question, though. Does Lily imagine the heads of her victims talk to her, or do they literally talk? Maybe it's something that'll get answered later anyway, but it's a nice mysterious touch.

Love between the two blossoms as their personal obsessions bring their lives closer and closer together. Redemption and renewal for the two will lay in unveiling the secrets of Elmwood’s rich history before the town, consumed with paranoia, closes in on them.
