It has been said that when we die, we go to Heaven or Hell. After passing away, Elise Dawn finds that there are many other places to go in the afterlife. Prepare to enter the breathtaking realms of Otherworld; alive with strange and wonderful creatures, where a stray thought can become reality.
Join Elise on her magical, escapades, exploring all the worlds between life and death with her pet Robert and newfound friends, Trauma Boy and Young Jack. Thrills, chills and dangerous adventures await them. Elise will have to rely on her quick wit and these new friends to get her through the serious challenges that await her.
Death is not the end… it’s just the beginning.

First I do a pencil sketch of the character.I use it to make the drawing in a vector program.The backgrounds I do them directly in the program.It is slow work. I work all weekend to make a page ... and sometimes do not have time to complete. I would like to do more, but I work as a professor of graphic design Monday through Friday.
Y: Do you mind sharing with us, your fans, your techniques? Do you sketch out your concepts, scan, then work the shapes in a vector program? Work directly in a vector program? Illustrator? How long does it take to do a page? I use Illustrator for caricatures and it takes a long time for just the face...I can't imagine doing a whole comic page. Thanks in advance for the info.

Wow. Fascinating story, and I love all the histories and side stories. And the art is just amazing -- fits the story perfectly.
It's something I have yet to explain.The imaginary boys, though they are dead need to eat and sleep.Not is a physical need.Is something that makes them feel less "dead".When a soul is decoupled from its previous needs, it loses some of his humanity, and passed to a higher state.All this is explained in a conversation that will maintain Elise and "Young Jack" later.
I'm confused. If they're dead, do they really sleep?

Nobody has noticed my tribute to Michael Jackson on the screen 61? In the screen 62 also is a tribute: The building where he lives D'Emo is inspired by the 666 Fifth Avenue. A few years ago the offices of DC Comics were in this building.
just finished reading a Batman Conf. issue. The artwork was so bad I couldn't finish it. The main guy Cheng was drawn with slanted eyes, non-slanted eyes, blue eyes, brown eyes and white eyes all on the same page!!..one panel had him with a potted plant sticking out of the back of his head...isn't that a basic "no-no"in 101 drawing and this is one of DC's main books. Stumbled on this comic later today and was blown away. Beautiful stuff!! I know it is not the same style to compare...but it sure helped remove the bitterness I had over spending $$ on that comic. The backdrops, the colors, the perspective all come together to make this a memorable visual experience. DC do you check out these artist on your site? Give these guys a job!!
